After returning from a weekend in France during the French assembly elections, I feel compelled to discuss the theme of Unity this month. The recent events have highlighted the significant gap between citizens and their viewpoints, which are often influenced by powerful entities such as the media, banks, and corporations. Against the backdrop of major political changes in the UK and ongoing global conflicts, the concept of unity emerges as a vital and adaptable force. Unity entails embracing diversity, fostering tolerance, and seeking compromise and consensus in all circumstances. It serves as a reminder that we are interconnected on this planet, originating from celestial dust and destined to return to it. Love and unity stand as the ultimate saviours for our planet and humanity. While religion is often blamed for conflicts, it is the human interpretation that fuels division, despite the fact that all religions fundamentally promote love and unity.
Nevertheless there is reason for optimism. The UK's shift towards a more socialist direction and the mobilization of French voters to prevent the rise of the extreme right demonstrate that people have the ability to bring about positive change and strive for greater equality and reduced conflict. As individuals, we must empower ourselves to stand in solidarity with others, question things that seem amiss, conduct our own research, and demand transparency. By shedding light on all situations and opening our hearts, we can contribute to a better world. I am fond of Lincoln Jesser's work on Instagram, where he creates House Music that resonates with healing, light, and love frequencies. Hopefully, more young people will awaken to the idea of replacing control with love, light, and unity. This is particularly crucial in the era of rapid AI advancement. It is essential to ensure that these technologies are used for the betterment of humanity and the planet.
As July arrives and we reach the midpoint of the year with the New moon on the 5th, it is a suitable moment to contemplate the past 6 months: What accomplishments have we made in comparison to our goals for 2024? What obstacles have we encountered? Moreover, while rejuvenating during the summer, it is an opportune time to reassess your priorities and identify minor adjustments that can bring you closer to the values that bring you joy.
During the summer season, our emotions become more intense, our inner Fire is ignited, and we crave happiness and laughter. This time of year is associated with the heart and circulation, making it beneficial to focus on opening our hearts. Engaging in activities like sound healing, ecstatic dance, cacao ceremonies, breathwork, or walking barefoot on the ground can provide valuable healing experiences.
This month, I would like to focus on the wonderful Peppermint. I am currently enjoying the mint flavour for its refreshing properties and benefits for digestion. Peppermint is also effective for clearing congestion and reducing stress. I enjoy combining fresh leaves from my allotment it with half a teaspoon of moringa powder and a few goji berries for a touch of sweetness!
Here is a delightful and easy-to-follow recipe for a Vanilla and Mint raw cheesecake that I prepared in 2020 and rediscovered my fondness for:
My mantras for this month:
I am love and I am connected to universal life
I live in love, joy, bliss and freedom

> Salt from the Vendee: Were you aware that table salt, composed solely of sodium and chlorine, can have significant adverse effects on your cells? I opt for salt sourced from the marshlands of Olonne sur mer in the Vendee - a grey, sticky salt rich in minerals, known as Celtic salt, harvested by hand. You might find it interesting to hear Barbara O’Neill's insights on salt & water. In this picturesque location, there are only three salt producers with three huts. Starting this weekend, you can once again purchase salt from me!
